I purchased Grace, a Morgan mare, in April 2005. I rode her all summer.
Then, on September 9, I came home and found a strange new animal running around.
It took me almost an hour to come to the conclusion that
Grace had given birth! I'd had no clue she was even pregnant,
although six days earlier poor Grace just would not canter on a left lead.
Here I am riding baby Isaac, now three years old,
having started him myself.
This was taken on the day of the first successful ride off the lead rope,
though he's back on it for this picture.
